Dragon O² unveiled new fields of creation and connection. Playing with fluidity and opacity, it elevated the iconic ME Dubai atrium into a sanctuary of art and expression to reflect Zaha Hadid's legacy.

Option1 created a clean, diaphanous, and beautiful structure to support 9 modules in total symbiosis with the architecture of the main hall. Not a single cable has been left uncovered, they were on top of every single detail.

The structure, even without lighting, was already a work of art. The best canvas imaginable for the execution of this ultra-modern Dancing performance.

Rigging: Custom-made structure / Artistic Design

Volumetric Avatar

For the execution of the art piece, a volumetric digital avatar was prepared for real-time interaction. This avatar is based on the emission of reactive particles through movement, creating a "flaming" environment around the body.

The rigging and programming of the avatar were done in Unity. Its timeline fusion, colorization, and post-production treatments in real-time were carried out in** Resolume**

Noitom Integration

For the transmission of the dance in real-time to the volumetric environment, a high-grade optimization of the Wi-Fi transmission was necessary since the electromagnetic pollution in the hotel hall was considerable. The system integration was created using a combination of NOITOM software, running the avatar in Unity, and the final streaming of the content in real-time through Resolume Arena.

Using a full-body motion capture system we mapped the human body, its movements, and interaction with the Dragon. Capturing an accurate level of detail, speed, and body movements through the Noitom Perception Neuron technology.

Generative content

For the rest of the exhibition, some material with a Christmas theme was created. a volumetric Christmas tree with dynamic and generative content was produced. The 3D content was generated in Cinema 4D, its adaptation and improvement in Prome3, and the final programming grid in Resolume Arena.

A unique, symbiotic & sensorial experience as a tribute to Zaha Hadid. This experience aimed at representing the feminine through architecture, technology, and organic audiovisual content that mimicked the curves of the interior space, and the sharp angles of the skylight.

The spontaneity of contemporary dance was represented in real-time by a volumetric space with 54,000 points of light. Each movement, a flash. Each turn, A cascade of light in sync. Total integration of technology as an enhancer of emotions. The guests at the official opening of ME hotel were able to appreciate an elegant integration of technology, visual art, music, dance, and architecture in a single show. The beauty and uniqueness of the circumstances make NOVAE an iconic show for LedPulse.
