In conventional video displays, pixels are arranged in rows and columns (x and y axis) which is effective for 2-dimensions.
Layered to create a simple cubic 3D display, a Z axis is added.
In the Dragon O, the cubic (x,y,z) format, is insufficient leaving empty spaces between the voxels (pixels in 3D).
To make it up for the lack of information in conventional formats. We have created the Voxels organic distribution system.
Using algorithms, we redistribute Voxels so that they fill the empty spaces.
The result is a much higher resolution / smaller pitch, using the same number of LEDs.
The acrylic base is one of the design factors that identifies the Dragon. Now this base has reduced its weight and thickness by half! This substantially reduces the weight of the device in general, making it more transportable, easier to install and with a higher level of transparency in the base.
